Waterfalls of the iguazu are one of the New 7 Wonders (N7W)

The Waterfalls of Iguazú were consecrated like one of the New Seven natural Wonders, after the scrutiny of about a thousand million votes for Internet, what generated festivities in the streets of Port Iguazú and in their Brazilian neighbor Foz do Iguazú that will move to the border bridge.
The contest organized by New 7 Wonders (N7W), with headquarters in Switzerland, began in 2007 and took 440 places candidates of 220 countries, of those that were 28 finalists and the voting concluded the 11-11 -11.
The Waterfalls of Iguazú, with their 275 jumps on the average according to the flow of the river, and considered “the biggest curtain in water of the world”, was supported by Argentina and Brazil.
The border line between both countries go by the Devil’s Throat – the one bigger falls – and the canyon of Iguazú to whose margins are Port Iguazú and Foz do Iguazú cities.
