Argentina: Buenos Aires airports
June 7, 2009
Buenos Aires (Argentina) has two airports. All domestic flights leave from Aeroparque Jorge Newbery, only a few km.north of downtown in Palermo. The Aeropuerto Internacional Ministro Pistarini, -commonly known as “Ezeiza”, the international airport, is about 35 km south of downtown. The cheapest alternatives to Ezeiza, are the city buses, bus number 86 (fare: nearly U$S 1.50, be sure it says “Ezeiza”, since not all 86 buses go to the airport), which starts in La Boca.
